Wow. The stereo effect of that music is great through headphones.

And I always smile at the synchronized dancing like the pips.

And it was a time when most singers could actually sing and had great singing voices instead of relying on autotune.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

This and Marvin Gaye's "I heard it through the grapevine" are probably my top two favorites.

Saw them (I think only 1 from the original group) live in Beaumont, TX in 2002 or 2003. Great show, my buddy & I were 2 of the youngest there, at 15-16 yrs old.

I consider the Temptations to be among the very best. Such a tragic story tho, only Otis Williams is still alive.

The Motown sound was great. I was very fortunate have grown up during that time outside of Pittsburgh with friends who turned me on to the music. The Temps were the best.
David Ruffin or Eddie Kendricks?

The third of September was actually the day that the lead singer's (can't remember names) dad died. The song writer used this to get the response he got. Thanks Para, that was a great time for music. I grew up with Motown, lived Downriver.
