stoic-one2018 NRA Ballot - Anyone We're NOT Supporting?
As the title reads, does anyone's name on ballot raise any red flags? Someone you simply cannot support, or find less than optimal?

jcsabolt2I voted for Adam Kraut and only Adam Kraut.

MitchbSCI voted for only Adam Kraut, Tim Knight, and Julie Golob. Do not dilute your vote by guessing just to submit all the votes you're allowed.
Past Glenn Beck shenanigans aside, Grover Norquist remains a real stinker if you're looking for a name to avoid.

I am actually considering "bullet voting".

Vice President of Magpul. Might be worth it to consider voting for him.

USA – -(Ammoland.com)- Once again the NRA is being threatened by the enemy within and I’m reaching out to ask for your help. Unfortunately, NRA Board elections provide opportunities for people with interests other than those of NRA, to make moves to disrupt NRA, our mission and our cause. That is happening now.
People who are on the NRA ballot for election to the NRA Board of Directors deserve close scrutiny by NRA voting members. Being on the ballot does not automatically mean a person is qualified to serve on the Board. Most of the people on the ballot were nominated by the NRA Nominating Committee in a deliberative process designed to evaluate the motives and qualifications of the candidates.
However, some of the candidates on this year’s ballot were not nominated by the Nominating Committee, but rather they placed themselves on the ballot by collecting petition signatures. Petition signers had no way of knowing the real motives or qualifications of these petitioners.
linkRead the names at the bottom of the link, Hammer is basically telling you anyone but other than who the NRA nominating committee proposes is a threat to the NRA, in other words business as usual.

Hammer is basically telling you anyone but other than who the NRA nominating committee proposes is a threat to the NRA.
In other words, any candidate that has grass roots support (that would be us), should not be on the board. She is saying we don't know the motives or qualifications of the petitioners (we do). Adam Kraut and Tim Knight were nominated by member petition (Tim was also nominated by the nominating committee). These are the two I voted for. I also voted for Duane Liptak because of his work with Tim on the Colorado recall elections and his involvement with moving Magpul from Colorado to Texas and Wyoming.
