Happily Retired |
Thanks again for the encouragement. Well, looks like slim pickens for compression socks from the local pharmacies, even walmart. I will get on Amazon for them. Leg is pretty swollen now and has been barking at me all morning. I get up and walk around the house quite a bit it seems but the pain comes back so I head for the recliner always elevating that leg. Maybe I am spending too much time reclining and not walking. The doc just instructed me I need to both. I dunno. .....never marry a woman who is mean to your waitress.

My sentiments, too. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Best of luck with your recovery! "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

Well, that bruising ain’t nuthin’ yet! Seriously though, if you’re not sure call your doctor’s office and ask them specifically what the instructions are as far as movements about and rest. It’s a very important part of the recovery process and you want to do it right after all that work. Best of luck __________________________ "Trust, but verify."

I would use an Epsom salt bath for your leg to reduce the swelling. Glad you are home. 41
