I just watched the video, the Mariachi band played it straight, no deviations, no non-standard updates, just played strait and respectfully using traditional mariachi instuments.

No issues with it.

Much better than most sung versions.

Reminded me of "Mars Attacks," when a Mexican mariachi band plays the Star Spangled Banner outside the ruins of the White House, presumably because everybody else is dead.
