RightwireTurns out teen killer Karmelo Anthony isn't quite so poor after all.
Let me understand this, black people in Florida, are slapping white people for being on a jury in a trial that happened in Texas???

Austin Metcalf's family hit with death threats as Karmelo Anthony supporters face violence allegations.

oddball https://x.com/MattWallace888/s...supporters-follow%2FOne interesting aspect of this case/trial/conviction is that white leftists are absent- they won't touch this shitshow with a ten foot pole. The usual suspects- late night TV, celebrities, and white Democrat politicians- not a peep. Similar to the OJ case, only blacks are making noise. And the narrative of black supporters of Anthony have latched onto a fantasy that the killer was actually fighting for his life against 2-4 gigantic white thugs; Jasmine Crockett claims the twins had Anthony on the ground killing him. Nevermind the testimony from almost two dozen witnesses and actual video evidence.
This is the culture that had spawned Karmelo Anthony.

Photo editing isn't that hard, and it can be lots of fun, swap them graves with Trayvon Martin's or George Floyd's, and release the edits into the wild.

vthoky Sen. Tim Kaine distances himself from Democrats over Karmelo Anthony verdict quote:
Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., said he has a "hard time understanding" claims that the guilty verdict in Karmelo Anthony's murder trial was unfair or racially motivated, distancing himself from some Democrats and activists who have criticized the outcome of the case.
"I have a hard time understanding why they would say that," Kaine said when asked about claims from some Democrats that Anthony's guilty verdict was unfair or racially charged.
The Virginia Democrat’s comments come after protests and online criticism emerged following Tuesday’s verdict. Anthony was sentenced to 35 years in prison after being found guilty of intentionally stabbing and murdering Austin Metcalf.
Kaine's comments stand in contrast with remarks from Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, who has publicly described Anthony as a "scared Black boy" and argued he was not shown enough "mercy" following the verdict.
Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around.

Maybe darthfuster is referring to a weekend event like that at Bernie's with Jesse. I'm sure they could find two stooges to prop him up.

GreymannI don't think the Anthony family knows that an appeal of sentence goes both ways.
Carmelo may get life or the death penalty.

ElToroWith Florida’s pretty generous stand your ground laws and mostly constitutional carry, random attacks on whites is not going to end well for some people.

jsbcodyFirst thing: so some blacks are threatening to do violence to white people....wow, it must be a day ending in y. Yes, they are already doing this and have been for some time. During Obummer's era, Holder didn't like how lopsided the racial violence stats were and changed the criteria. If a Hispanic suspect shot a Black person, the Hispanic was classified as White. If a Black person shot a Hispanic, the Hispanic was classified as Hispanic. Now remember there is a lot of violence between Black and Hispanic gangs, so easy to cook the vastly lopsided stats.
Second: I was really surprised that the Defense did not try the Unformed teen brain/Dropped on His Head As A Child/Not Enough Hugs to mitigate the conviction during the Sentencing Phase. I have seen it used in EVERY case involving a Juvenile Certified as an Adult or Teenage Defendant. This might be what they wanted, a built-in flaw for Appeal of the Sentence. Also, in EVERY single one of those cases there has been Jury Sentencing. The theory being a Jury doesn't want to convict a kid so they will look for a way to either: A) minimize the charge (Voluntary Manslaughter instead of Murder First Degree or Murder Second Degree) or B) Give a lesser sentence of say 15 years as opposed to 25-30 years.

That can't happen. There is a Supreme Court Ruling where Juveniles/teens can't be sentenced to Life-or-Death Penalty. In fact, in some states the Prosecution is better off charging a Juvenile Certified As An Adult or Teen under Murder Second Degree, as they can get more time than under Murder First (this is true in Missouri).
*Roper v. Simmons (2005): Abolished the death penalty for all youth under 18.
*Miller v. Alabama (2012): Ruled that mandatory life without parole for youth under 18 violates the Eighth Amendment's cruel and unusual punishment clause.
Keep your head on a swivel, carry, practice, and have lots of extra ammo/mags. The crazies and black racists will be inspired to hurt white people (Moreso than usual).

In what jurisdiction(s)? Not in the US as far as I know. Sentences can be reduced on appeal, but not enhanced. It is true in some countries, but the possibility of an enhanced punishment would tend to reduce the number of appeals. Not necessarily a bad thing, IMO, but ….
(A personal observation based on things I learned long ago. I could easily confirm it with an Internet search, but posting such results evidently makes some people uncomfortable.)
