I bet that was a heck of a ride. Evidently the blue car helped slow it down, but it otherwise did a good job sticking the parking job. I give it a 9.2.

That's just the technique used to clear vehicles parked in front of fire hydrants when arriving on scene...

I'm disappointed no lights and sirens were on, really would have added to the theatrical value. The original video is on Facespace and is laced with expletives, which is why the local news has no volume on theirs.

If he would have gotten it all the way up in that yard he would have stopped it.

Also, not a bad idea to have chains if you're going to be out on the ice. A lot of departments around here have auto chains on their rigs.

I was driving the rescue truck, a SERIOUSLY overloaded Ford F350 Dually, to an accident scene with injuries. Winter, snotty roads, no shoulders, short sight lines.

Crested a small rise, unloaded the suspension and got sideways (driving too fast, frankly...) and spent the next few seconds driving while looking out the passenger side window. Did manage to gather it up and get pointed in the right direction without damage or going off the road.

Passenger helped by trying to crawl into the glove box so I could see better... Big Grin

He did do a good job bringing it back under control.
Did it hit the blue car? I didn't see it actually hit... but it looks pushed into the grass?

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

With the recent tire chains on ice thread, I was wondering what the emergency vehicles do when it’s icy out. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

There is a proctologist having a heck of a time getting the driver’s seat out of the driver’s seat.

According to the Facespace narrative "Car hit my car and then landed on a fire hydrant. Then the pick up hit the car and then the fire truck slammed the blue car past my car and used it as a buffer to not hit that guys house."

That is how it is reported by the Facespace Correspondent (as shared by a St. Charles County Scanner page). Evidently it was in Imperial or Arnold.
