I only watch NASCAR when I'm getting paid Wink

I'll be in the garages for the August races here in Michigan. We get trucks plus two Cup races to make up for our cancelled June race.

Is anyone who is interested not aware? I don't see the need to start a thread unless you are expecting the predicable and understandable response of "Fuck NASCAR."

Yes bw, it is weds evening and a lot of folks who might be interested might not know it is on midweek this week.
I stumbled on to it myself and am enjoying the live action. A wonderful version of the National anthem, etc.
Veeper that is great to hear about your kids watching. Have a great evening together and root for your favorite driver guys!

I did not post so those of you who are not interested feel like coming in to vent. Go elsewhere please.

My grandmother's brother used to make good money on his land next to the Speedway parking cars.

Hey buddy, I respect that is how you feel. Just do not understand why you and others feel the need to come into this thread to express it. This is not a thread meant for you guys. But you know that already Wink

Watched it, like the short segments, although the 4th should be 20 to 25 laps, give other people besides the front row a chance without a caution.

One day I will drive over and watch Bristol. I hear it is a real blender, and that there are no bad seats. For some reason, my personal favorite are the 1 mile tracks. It just seems like fun racing.

I did think it was neat that Matt D. and the Wood Brothers won the Open. Looked like Bubba could dish it out, but not take it.

The choose (non)cone worked out better than the first time they try much of anything.

Congrats to Chase. Cue the Siren!

From what I've read, the stands were limited to about 20% capacity. They got to see a good show.
