I use Lucas. Every fill up since injectors were replaced at 100K. Have 255K now with no indication of injector problems. 02 Duramax.

My 2002 cummin's turbo diesel dodge will be coming out of the shop soon. With the diesel of today what are you guys adding to your fill ups to keep your pickups humming along like clockwork. The white bottle with red cap Power Service or something else. I really need to keep this rig running good for another 250kThen on to the million mile club. Thanks guys.

Dude, don't make a science project out of it. I've put used fry oil in mine. Seriously.

My experience is a bit dated as I left the commercial truck parts world in ‘08 and out of the light truck parts world in ‘17. I stocked and sold Power Service products, it seemed to be the best additive we found.

Thanks guys, our diesel is winterized during the season.
I will start out with Lucas since I already have on
hand.
Sounds like the stanadyne is good too. Which formulation do you recommend for every fill ups?

Thought I'd bump this with winter approaching. Has anyone seen the independent review of many of these additives and how they are rated? I'm switching to Opti max, but would love to see some reports. I can't find the one where they tested 15 or more of these with a very thorough report of their findings. Thx.

Putting an additive in is way less important than keeping water out.

Which is why I have a lift pump. But I still treat all the fuel. It may be overkill but its what I do.
