Idunno.

Hermes also makes some awesome shoes for men as well.

They aren't cheap, but they are well made and the craftsmanship can't be beat.

About 10 years ago I sold my company and I told my wife I was going to treat myself to 3-Day Golf school and all new Ping clubs and bag. She said that sounded OK and she just wanted a new purse so I foolishly said "you can can buy any purse you want".
I knew I was in trouble when she took me to Chanel store and they first gave us each some champagne and chocolates.
Her purse was $6000 and wallet was $1500.
My golf stuff was $ 3500.
I never knew such purses existed.

Ha. Mrs. Lee wanted to have coffee at the Dior store in Miami. 30 min. wait to get in, two coffees and one scoop of ice cream and the tab was $70. After that I went to the Rolex AD right across the street, wearing a James Cameron Deep Sea and they cracked the door open, told me I'd have to make an appointment. I wonder what the poor people are doing today.

I work for the ultra wealthy. All of my customers are worth $100 million or more. NONE of them give a rats ass about the cost of the items they wear or carry. They don't NEED to impress anyone. The ones that barely have it, and everything is a financed house of cards, are the ones that buy bags like this, so they can feel rich.

My favorite watch is my cheapest one - an old IWC Aquatimer. It doesn't impress anyone but true watch nerds. My best Rolex that cost 5-6x more is probably assumed by most to be a fake. I'm sure Elon Musk wears an Apple watch. But these kinds of things don't accurately reflect one's true financial situation.

Why people buy the world’s expensive handbags?

It’s not that they have too much money; they have too much utter stupidity.

I don't see how it's stupid if you 1) can afford it, 2) want and enjoy it and/or 3) it retains value or even appreciates.

Mrs. Lee has the Imelda Marcos shoe collection, but she can afford it and it makes her happy, which keeps my life easy too.

I would bet a nickel that if it were possible to pick apart everything that any reasonably affluent person does there would be no difficulty in finding things that someone else could consider to be stupid if that other person were so self-centered and narrow-minded as to believe that only the things he was interested in or wanted were acceptable.

I have seen innumerable posts just on this forum alone that referred to things that people spend time, money, effort, or all three on that I have absolutely no interest in, and yet seem to make other people happy—and sometimes, such as addictions, actually make them miserable. But because I do and have many things that I realize are of no interest to most other people I’m certainly not going to point out how tarnished I believe someone else’s kettle is.

Try thinking about it for a nanosecond or three, and it might make it easier to get along with the rest of one’s fellow inhabitants of this tiny speck in space.
