I don't recall ever turning down a candy bar during my childhood. EVER. They were all good. Favorites = Milky Way, Mounds, Idaho Spud, Twix, Big Hunk, Butterfinger, and Kit Kat were all at the top of my list.

It was and still is 3 Musketeers. Now I prefer the snack or mini bites chilled in the fridge.

Depending on my mood, Snickers, Hershey with Almonds, or Pay Day.
Those are still my favorites today.

Annabelle's "Idaho Spud". This was a turd shaped bar that had a chocolate outside with a creamy/marshmallow/coconut filling on the inside. It was not as common as Hershey, Babe Ruth, Butter Finger, Snickers, etc. but when you found it you had struck the mother lode.

After some further suggestions, I definitely omitted kit kat.

ZERO for me too man, and Paydays...
Snickers and Reeses are my adult faves in the sold everywhere, commonly available category. ZERO if I can find them.

My stomach is growling as I type, thanks guys.
All time favorite... STAR Bar. Forgot who made it but it had a semi-hard center of ground peanut (think Reese’s center yet firm, but not flaky like 5th Ave or Butterfinger), surrounded by caramel with a milk chocolate coating... all perfectly balanced. Nutrageous is a close second.
Black licorice and Hot Tamales on the non-candy bar front, of course. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Dakor,

Growing up, I'd probably say Kit Kat bar or Whatchamacallit. Granted, I LOVE candy, and really never turn down any, save black licorice or root beer flavored.
I've been partial to fruit flavored candies over chocolate the past 10 years or so though.

Mounds and Almond Joy. Loved the coconut. Sometimes I felt like a nut, sometimes I didn't.

Anybody keeping score? I'm pretty sure Snickers is winning.
