PATERSON, NJ — Longtime U.S. Representative Bill Pascrell Jr., who represented New Jersey's 9th congressional district for 28 years, has died at the age of 87. Pascrell, who was the second-oldest member of the U.S. House of Representatives, was seeking his 15th term this November. Looks like he was always a shoe-in, getting 80% of the district vote, $1.4 million war chest, but now that he's gone, wonder if his Muslim competition will take the spot on the D ticket. Link
No kidding, he's been in congress since 91 and has a reported $6 million dollar net worth, before that in the army and then mayor of a small town.. Politics is profitable. | |||
