Likely went right through the aorta. Bled to death on the way to the hospital.

I like the clapping at the end. The plates on the armor worn by our military are supposed to stop a 7.62 round. Doesn’t mean I’d willingly let somebody shoot me with a .22 while wearing one.

I sometimes wonder what it takes for people to learn that it’s not a good idea to do certain things.

There’s at least one video out there of LAPD(?) instructors shooting cigarettes out of the mouths of other officers during public exhibitions during the 1940s, and that was actually a fairly common stunt at one time. Another has a group of possibly Brazilian LEOs firing past someone as he moves erratically back and forth in front of them. But it wasn’t only during the “innocent” 1920s to ’40s or crazy foreigners. Although it’s not well advertised, it’s reported that various military and law enforcement “special” units hold exercises in which team members stand next to targets during live fire. And then we even have at least one civilian firearms instructor who has staff assistants film the action while standing between targets that the students are firing at.

But despite all that, what’s more dangerous, such shooting stunts or wingsuit gliding as close to obstacles as possible, BASE jumping, or doing stupid things on motorcycles?

Oops, that was the airsoft body armor. Sorry about that, my bad. Really though, what was the clapping for?

Too many of these 3rd world militaries still believe that they must 'teach pain' and 'show their toughness' to the public with 'tough guy' demonstrations. Good grief, no medical on-hand, even after they drag him away... Real professional there Roll Eyes

Friend of mine who was an advisor (US) to the Thai SEAL's remarked how their basic 1st phase training involved regular caning and beatings of the students. When asked asked what does it teach or, is it a instructional building block, the response was students needed to know about pain and understand there's punishment for failing. After his rotation, he believed at least 3-4 of the instructors who were straight-up sadists, had zero concept of their roles as teachers instead, just relished the ability to beat the students. Some of them pointing out their training was tougher, therefor, they needed to make the students training just as tough with the canings. Roll Eyes

I’m thinking he bled to death by the time he came to a stop while being dragged.

Obviously, there were chinks in his armor. Was it made in China?

Note to self: Do not let people shoot you.
Added note: When doing something stupid, make sure others film it.

Could have been back face deformation/blunt force trauma to the spine dropped him and the vest caught the bullet...

Either way, yeah 3rd world countries don't exactly value life/have the safety protocols we have in the US.

I’m thinking he bled to death by the time he came to a stop falling to the pavement while being dragged.

Dropping instantly like a spaghetti noodle would indicate major spinal cord injury (like severed). Below the level of injury, he was unaffected (noticed he lifted his head momentarily while on the ground). He did not die right there. Article said he died on the way to the hospital. See the link posted by RogueJSK that has another viewpoint.
