How Much Sleep Do Ya'll Get on Avg?
5 to 6 hours. Occasionally less. Been doing this for decades. More than 6 and I'm useless for the rest of the waking day (yawn)...

I'm 65 and get between 4.5 and 5. It takes me about 2 minutes to fall asleep. I need something to help me sleep at least 6 hours.

My body clock is so out of whack, I don't even keep track anymore. Sometimes very little, sometimes a lot.

4-5 hours. On the weekends with nothing planned 6-7. I dream of getting 8hrs, I'd be happy with 5-6 undisturbed.

Usually 6-7. Sometimes less, occasionally a little more, but usually 6 or 7 hours.

49 here, I get about 6 hours. Occasionally I'll push it to 7 but rarely longer than that.

Sometimes, you gotta roll the hard six

I'm similar. usually in bed between 0830 and 0900 and up in the 1300-1400 range. On my days off, I tend to sleep at night. I'll often get one really good one of 8-10 hours and then one really poor one.

Confirmed night owl for my entire life. 55 years old. Bedtime is 3:30 a.m. on the average. Maybe about six hours of sleep? Never get up before morning.

3-4 hours a night. On a good night. I can't sleep. I don't know if this is normal for my age or what. Last night I went to bed at 2330 and woke up at 0045. I've been up ever since. My doctor says that there is nothing wrong physically that it's probably either too hot or too cold in my bedroom. It's neither. This can't be good for me. My wife is worried about it.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It's call Saw Palmetto. A blend of several natural ingredients the primary one being the fruit of small palm tree from the extreme SE parts of the country. It's helped a lot of older folks, some not so much, but you can read the reviews. For me it took about a month of taking it and then I was pretty darn happy to get up just once a night to go "dribble" in the toilet. Give it a go, see what you think. Very reasonably priced for a two month supply. Here is a LINK

So, 7 1/2 hours or so.

I was sure I was sleeping very poorly given the number of times I wake up due to needing to pee or due to night seats. My doctor recommended using a sleep app to track things.
Surprisingly, I was actually getting more sleep than I thought as I was sleeping on and off during times I thought I was awake.
Between 10pm and 6am I generally get about 7-7.5 hrs.

10 hours! That way if I wake up in the middle of the night, I can think about various issues and still get a solid 8 hours of sleep.

57 here - On average I'm getting 7+ hours of sleep since getting a CPAP machine in April.

Instead, I stopped breathing 28 times per hour and some of the big apneas would fully wake up.

Similar experience here. Prior to getting the CPAP I too was up 2-3 times a night to take a leak. I just thought it was part of getting older. After I started with the CPAP I haven't had the need to get up to take a leak at all.

So for all you guys who are getting up multiple times to urinate…have you thought about seeing a urologist?
There are a number of medications and procedures that can help relieve “Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms” from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
After not tolerating alpha blockers like Flomax, my urologist put me on daily Cialis, and I no longer have significant nocturia, urgency, and frequency.
Cutting back on carbonated and citrus drinks also helped a lot on the daytime urgency.

Dealing with a flare up of the pinched nerve in my neck, so 2-4 hours a night the last two weeks. Had not been fun.

80% of my life I could not fall asleep and could not wake up. Now I fall asleep easy and can't NOT wake up in the morning. Can't sleep late even if I want to. I usually get 6-7 on a good night.

^ I sleep poorly now, part of it is a carb thing. Since I reduced carbs in my diet years ago, I've slept like crap. Now I use french fires or icecream like a sleep aid. lol If I know I REALLY need to get some good sleep, I will "carb load" (for me anyway) right before bed, and I'll have a deep restful sleep.

He stuffed a camera into my penis, after lubricating it with rusty razor blades. Then he wanted me to make another appointment so he could follow up with a roto-rooter.

Nope, not gonna do it. I'll continue getting up two or three times a night.
