my daughter is graduating next year. She is in a nursing program through her high school. Her favorite thing we got her was a watch. I gave her a Seiko 5 automatic when she was twelve. She wears it every day for her nursing/veterinary classes.

She does not wear jewelry very often because of washing and nursing requirements. The watch though is mostly there every day.
