It does not matter what Booker does; there will be no repercussions in the Senate and the people of New Jersey will continue to re-elect him.

Nothing will happen to Sen. Booker. My gut feeling is Chairman Grassley is letting ALL of these shenanigans go, because it will make for great cannon fodder in the next election. Chairman Grassley is playing the long game, chess - not checkers - so I'm content with letting it play out.

I would like to think he has been, to an extent, even if it doesn't make great soundbites on the nightly news. During the past 18 months, they have been absolutely packing the federal courts with very young, conservative minded judges, that will have lasting implications for decades to come.
