Hahaha! you are absolutely correct, DiFi just got pwned by Flake, hilarious.
That's a complete misreading of what happened. Flake just screwed over the Republicans. McConnell has to agree to the investigation unless Collins and Murkowski commit to a yes vote. I can't imagine what kind of a deal was made - what could the Dems have offered Flake?

Are you calling for a delay in the thread?

Is there a single page of this thread that doesn't have two or more posts of yours on it?
How can I make it clear to you that I want you to COOL IT?
How can I make it clear to all of you that I do not want to see defeatist crap on these pages?
I do not want to see it. Such stuff benefits no one and no one wants to read that stuff.

Let the FBI investigate until 10 am Monday morning then DO THIS THING!
They've already said that "investigating" a beer party that happened 36 years ago somewhere the accuser can't even recall is POINTLESS.

I thought I heard that the investigation would encompass only the current allegations. Anyone else hear that?
Yes, complaints currently before the committee. Ford's is the only one that meets that requirement since no one else (Ramirez or Swetnick) submitted their complaint.

Every Republican Senator will be confronted and filmed in a bushwhack style if there are further delays. The MSM will have a coordinated flow of propaganda if this circus is not shut down.

I understand your point but with a 51-49, if it goes 50-50 does it not fall to the VP? Also there are plenty of reports that dems in swing states are going to be forced to choose between who they vote for. Heitkamp, Manchin and a few others. If they don't, their election could be toast and the Republicans will maintain hold of the senate.

Thing that confuses me is I keep hearing there already was an FBI investigation. The witnesses said they don't remember or it didn't happen. FBI came back and said no go.
So they want the FBI to investigate again?

The investigation's already been done. The Dems, and Flake, seem to think that an FBI investigation is like playing roulette; if they keep spinning the wheel, they will eventually come up with a winner.
They are morons as well as fascists.

The FBI conducted a backround check on Kavanaugh, received the letter from DiFi, and said were done here on our end. Graham just said you can have the FBI, CIA and the foreign legion look at this for another week and they couldnt tell us any more than they do now.

You are correct. But Collins and Murkowski aren't committed yes votes yet and could be influenced by Flake. And don't count on Democrats to be the 50th vote. They will toss a couple yes votes if it wouldn't matter, but if the Republicans can't come up with 50 votes, I don't think any Democrat will step up to put Kavanaugh on the court. So unless Collins and murkowski commit to a yes, then Mitch can't afford to lose Flake.

That "What?" was one of the funniest things I've seen. Ole DiFi has no idea what is going on, no idea Flake ran the clock down and Grassley successfully pushed the whole thing to the floor.
Maybe one of you can figure out how to pull the video off of Breitbart's live update page, linked to CBS I think. It truly is hilarious

Im no Flake fan, but he voted yes in comittee, and he gave himself a week to nut-up and vote yes again the floor. Im not sure if this was just a ploy to get Kavanaugh through comittee or not, but he made it- thats step one. Overall this is a win for us today and a loss for the Dems.

Given the state of the current FBI, is it any wonder why the demorats would love to see their rats in the FBI get a piece of this?
No F'in way!!! McConnell best move this to vote ASAP.

Flake: what an apropos name.
IF the FBI agrees to investigate, will they investigate how Ford was "compelled" to testify? That might be worth the wait.

Grassley got this shit show to the floor. It wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t how we wanted it, but he got it there.
None of us armchair Quarterbacks are going to know what will go on behind closed doors and we have pretty much zero means to affect it.
Mitch McConnell, Trump, and even Oldboy Bush will make or break this.

There will be no vote after a week long "FBI investigation" because the FBI does not investigate on a timetable. Either the "investigation" will go longer, at which time the left will scream how you can't vote during an active investigation, or it will be done and the left will scream "it was not comprehensive enough and was shut down by the president to hide the truth".
I hope Mitch has a plan because a week delay for the FBI isn't one.
