41I wonder if the people who do granite kitchen tops would be interested?
You could probably get the plate inscribed from another place and put it together yourself.
Shipping would be too expensive to buy it from out of town.

IcabodThink the Cemetary might have some rules about what can be used. Most want ground level for maintenance.
A pity really.

arfmelI have bought a couple from here and the family was pleased with them. I got small enough ones to carry and set by hand. The shipping is included in the price but if you get a big one you'll need to have a way to unload it from the truck.

FredwardI once bought a coffin from Caskets "R" Us, but never a discount headstone.
My cousin and I had the coffin in the back of my deceased uncle's carpenter's van. We got pulled over on the Kansas Turnpike. The trooper asked us where we were going in such a hurry. My cousin replied, "Dad's funeral." The officer looked in the back, scowled, and told us to slow down. I guess he figured Uncle Keith was riding with us.

About what I paid 4 months ago. Local company not connected to the cemetery. Who wanted double.

casI dunno, a granite kitchen countertop would look cool, and you'd have easy access to water for flowers.
