As the article points out, this is not a new phenomenon...I've been hearing similar stories for years, mostly in Colorado and New Mexico. Cattle found dead that were mutilated with clean surgical-like cuts removing various internal or external organs, with no blood remaining and no signs of the organs or blood near the carcass. Also, no animal tracks, human tracks, or any signs of wheeled vehicles anywhere near the kill. Experts seem to have ruled out the natural predators that would first come to mind in at least several of these cases.
One interesting fact mentioned in the article is that all these recent mutilations involved bulls only, in the past I've simply heard that cattle were found mutilated.
The two theories I've heard for years are either aliens or satanic worshippers using the animal in their ritualistic sacrifices.
Slim chance, but if I was a rancher I'd be inclined to hang game cameras and maybe even try to find a way to work in some drone surveillance.
