The Duramax ZR2 has better MPG ratings, but the $$ upcharge to get the diesel.

The Enemy's gate is down.

Just went through this. Actually, difference in cost not that great. We compared six cyl versions. We are retired. Found colordao more refined and suitable to our lifestyle.

If I were an off road 4 wd driver, was going to put a lot of miles on it or used the truck for work, would prob go w/ Toy based on maint record and nimbleness.

Our use is short trips, mulch hauling. Colo excells in ride an comfort. We won’t put many miles on it.

Toy is rugged, but seems like old platform technology as far as ride.

Chevy is more refined and comfortable, although I’m concerened anout reliability compared to Toy. I’m not a chvy fan but wife really liked it.

I think the Colorado was a good choice for us.

I’m. It a Chevy fan at all but if weee in the market for a small truck I would put the ZR2 at the top of my list over the Toyota....and I owned a Toyota o back in the day. Locking axles are a big feature for off-roading.
