And I bet Hayden still has his security clearance

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/ne...den-CIA-removed.html

Former CIA director Michael Hayden made clear he was not backing down on Tuesday after being criticized for suggesting that Sen. Tommy Tuberville should be removed from the human race for his blockade on military appointments.

It brought a rapid wave of condemnation and accusations that he was calling for the assassination of a senator.

Logan Dobson, of Republican consulting firm Targeted Victory, posted: 'Them: The media and the deep state are not out to get Republicans, that's a conspiracy theory

How comforting to know that former military/CIA members would support the murder of elected officials they don't like because they've delayed promotions for those they think we need promoted. Congressional oversight be damned? This guy was sworn to support and defend the Constitution, but his words certainly seem to suggest otherwise.

The left being their usual tolerant selves.

As for Logan Dobson, if his quote was taken in proper context, then I bet he is the kind of strategist that helped usher in Republican wins in 2012, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

What a tool! Dishonoring his former uniform and service. According to USAF website, he made his general promotions during the Clinton Administration. Should we be surprised?

I haven’t seen or heard this but it’s little to no different than statements that DJT frequently makes.

I am just sick of what politics has become no matter which side (D or R) that the comments come from.

And this is different how? Sickening for either party.

If you haven't seen or heard this then there's a pretty good chance you don't know what you're talking about. This IS different! I'm pretty sure Trump has NEVER suggested that ANYONE (excluding terrorists!) should be 'removed from the human race'! If you've got information to the contrary, feel free to post a link to back up that claim. I'll wait... Roll Eyes

My brother brings this up constantly, its a liberal talking point from when Trump said that Miley should be executed for treason.

Former President Donald Trump and Republican Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona suggested that outgoing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley is a traitor who deserves to be executed.

Trump blasted Milley, an Army general, in a social media post Friday that accused Milley of going behind his back by making phone calls to Chinese counterparts in the final months of Trump’s administration.

“If the Fake News reporting is correct, [Milley] was actually dealing with China to give them a heads up on the thinking of the President of the United States,” Trump wrote in the post on his Truth Social site.

“This is an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been death!”

^ ^ I am sorry but he (DJT) suggested someone be hanged recently (Mark Milley), not to mention his own VP, Mike Pence.

I don’t like politics but I just thought that this thread was ironic. Last post that I am making on politics. Just a mistake on my part.

As I stated, I am tired of politics. I despise both sides. Good day gentlemen.

Milley is a treasonous swine that undermined a sitting presidents authority. Tuberville as a senator is not required to rubber stamp military appointments and as a result he is exercising his prerogative in his not supporting certain military appointments. This is a dishonest comparison.

OK, I'll amend my statement to stipulate that Trump had made statements the an individual (Mark Milley in this case) guilty of Treason should be executed. Of course what's being discussed is not the same as Treason, which is a crime, and execution is a possible penalty if found guilty.

18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

You mean the Michael Hayden that was Director of the NSA and totally missed the 9/11 attacks? When National Security is right in the name of your agency and you bone that one - you are pretty much worthless. He sounds arrogant and full of himself and most defiantly is suffering with a mental health crisis.

Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

Hayden should have been jailed for the BS he did and didn't do. He needs to just shut up or die.
