If you have access to Amazon Prime, it has a new documentary by a French filmmaker about the country that was shot in North Korea. It's fairly recent as it features Kim Jung Un. The documentary speaks for itself as it pertains to the challenges the US and the world are facing in dealing with the Kims and the North Koreans.
This is the same one. It's worth your time. I lived in South Korea for two years in the mid 80's and my grandfather was a WO in the 204th Field Artillery Battalion during the Korean War. So I started watching it just because. However, I think anyone that is concerned about North Korea really ought to watch this as it will help you understand the NK culture and attitude towards the US.
Frontline recently ran a program about the NorKs, it profiled a number of people who live in S.Korea, China and Japan who are helping the people living in the North. Smuggling video programing, food and money through various means, exposing them to the outside world. Some of the videos smuggled out gives some insight to what goes on outside of govt menders and cameras.
This might makes things interesting. South Korea has just elected a new president whose views on relations with the North are very different than those of the previous presidents.

I watched this last night as well as most of the stuff from Monkeetime. I find it all interesting, but their attempts to mask reality are so thoroughly pathetic and insulting to the world's collective intelligence that I found it a little hard to watch at times.
