I don't mind the shiny bits as much as the 'enhanced' look.

I would swap the gold for a brushed nickel, then it would be right up my alley.

Doh! You ask this crowd whether or not to buy?!? You’re joking right? Regardless of whether or not it might interest any one of us, if you are asking if you should buy, there are really only two acceptable answers:

“Yes, of course you need one.”

or

“Remember, one is none and two is one. You should buy at least two.”

If you are married, you can use the second answer when you explain to your wife that you were being really restrained when you only bought one. You’re welcome. :;

That is just gorgeous.

I wish I still had my 1980 Pontiac Trans Am to match it.

Not that my opinion matters, but I heartily approve.

If you like it, get it while the the get’n’ is good.

I like simple – my P226 X5 Comp, with Robert Burke action job, is the perfect X5 for me.

The gold accents make it too garish for my tastes.

I noticed the the slide and frame are both stainless steel. The extra weight should make it a real sweet shooter. There would be negligible muzzle rise with 9mm ammunition. I expect the sights settling back down almost immediately.

Admittedly this is based on conjecture. Both my stainless steel framed P226 pistols are in 357SIG caliber.

Needs a gold tooth to accessorize with it...only then it's GTG. Wink

Not my kind of color scheme, but if it floats for you...then sure, why not? Over the long haul the Mastershop guns are only going to go in one direction anyways; if you can get this for a reasonable price then all the better.

I would consider it a BBQ gun. Nothing wrong with that. If you like it buy it.
