F22 Demonstration Team - anyone watch their performance?
The Air Combat Command F-22 Demonstration Team from Langley Air Force Base will soon be in the area.
Is this a show like the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds or something far simpler?

It has been a few years since I have seen the F22 demo, but it is awesome. It was a simpler show than the Tbirds but very high performance. Don't miss it if you like the jet fighters.

I have seen the F-22 demo several times. Back then, it was just a single plane showing off its capabilities. I had to watch it several times before my brain could accept what I was seeing (climbing verticle, and making a 90 degree pivot to level flight, doing a back flip, etc). It has vectored thrust, so it could do some wild stuff. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Hound Dog,

It crackles. An amazing display of power and finesse.

If you have a basic understanding of aerodynamics, you won't believe what you are seeing.
