This was going to be my suggestion. They have an unbelievable selection and the last time I was in there one of the employees spent at least 45 minutes helping a shopper find one that fit him perfectly.

Yeah, I'm taking my wife and kids to the airport in Indy in a little over 2 weeks and we're going to stop at REI on the way so I can check some stuff out.

At this point in my research I'm trying to decide if I'm better off going with an ultralight pack like the Durston Kakwa or sticking with something more traditional with better ventilation and suspension, even if it is a bit heavier.
