Are there good autonomous ones?

Any brands of the walk behind ones to seek out?

Familiarity with the lease programs? (I get the business model. Packaging companies did the same thing pre-COVID - cheap leases to tie you to their packaging, but if it’s a decent machine and cleaning chemicals might make sense)

This would be on a couple thousand square feet of tile, in good condition.

Tennant is the Chevy or ford of the industry and they have autonomous scrubbers (X4 ROVR). There are others but Tennant has good customer service and support for the end user. If you have any other questions let know, we use a lot of different manufacturers equipment.

Back in the late 1970's I was an expert with a buffer. Used many times per week onboard USS INDEPENENCE (CV-62). I had my PQS signed off as a buffer tech.

All the warehouses I have worked in, we have used Tennant. They are an awesome scrubber and they don’t break down. That’s the biggest plus was the uptime. Always available. If you can afford them, it’s the way to go.

I have been retired from maintenance in the packaged food industry and maintained several Tenant machines for ten+ years. They are well built and parts were easy to obtain. The large ride on machine was far more durable than the walk behind type. Be aware though that the big one was operated by one person while the smaller were used by any "Joe" that got behind them. The suction scrapers took the brunt of the issues as they got caught on bollards and stanchions. Tenant is the big dog in the floor cleaning industry and probably as good as it gets but all will be somewhat high maintenance due to operators inattention.
