KevHWhat mattress topper?
We bought a new mattress which was delivered Sunday. We went extra firm this time since we seem to quickly wear out anything less. Well, this thing is as stiff as a board and just darn uncomfortable.
I can't return it for 30 days (they want you to give it a chance to break in) so I'm stuck with it for a bit. It may break in and be just fine, but I need to just get there. Monday was a sleepless night and I almost ended up sleeping on the couch.
I'm looking for a topper right now to make it bearable. I've been staring at internet reviews and am more confused than ever. It's a Cal King size bed and we both tend to sleep hot.
Any suggestions?

4MUL8RWe used an air mattress to save money when we had a rental rv with a board mattress. We couldn’t stomach paying hundreds for a topper.

Lwt16We tried two different toppers and I think we went with a bamboo made one.
I wish I had returned the mattress though. It’s been years and the thing never did soften. I sleep soundly when at motels and when we return home, it’s back to tossing and turning.
I assume you spent significant money. Life is too short to not enjoy restorative sleep.

x0225095My Pillow is the best we’ve tried…and are currently using. None of them, IMO, are life changers.

BentonvilleWe have a Saatva and a My Pillow and some cheap foam toppers. I have to say the My Pillow is the best in my opinion.

HRKDo you have your old mattress, just put the new one in the garage for the 30 days.
I'd be calling them and raising hell about the 30 days issue, tell them you want the softer model or come get it, because it's going out by the curb.
No way I'd drop any money for a topper for a mattress that is going back anyway, push it up the ladder until you get it resolved, post a negative review on FaceBook, X, Instagram...

I wish. They took the old one for disposal when they dropped off the new one.

Johnny 3eaglesWe just replaced out Sleep Number mattress with a Purple mattress. Recently I could not find the sweet spot with the Sleep Number after 14 years. The Purple mattress is excellent.
