We either have really sharp, great young kids - who make ridiculous amounts of money per hour for their age - or scatter-brained asocial and barely functional.

The mentally functional do seem less attached to their phones, but I’m not sure if it’s the phone, or the mindset which frees them from it.

They are far less interested in substances.

We already have a shrinking working population - if half the kids have destroyed their minds with pot from a young age I don’t know what the heck they’re going to do.

Getting ready to let an intelligent pot head go, who never shows up to work on time, gripes about working, then says they need a different job because the $18 an hour they make for scooping ice cream isn’t enough - but pothead refuses to work more than 20 hours a week, and only afternoons during the week…

Not an isolated person. We pay well enough that I can wash the potheads out the prior management hired, but there’s a large section of the population which never seem to shake off the effects of that junk.

Yeah, all dopers are slow, stupid and no work ethic.

Can I get you a broader brush? Lol

I see plenty of stupid, even without the fucking dope.

What’s that old saying… Reality is for those who can’t handle their drugs. Wink

Maybe people should learn to read a fucking book or two.

True, but which is the chickenm which is the egg? It is absolutely the case that, if you are already slow and stupid, Smokey the dope isn't going to make things any better.

This still won't help them make change from a $5 bill.

I’m not sure if it’s pot, or regular use of intoxicants at a young age.

One of my friends is working on the effects of vaping pot between 12-14, and is really horrified by what it’s doing to their minds, livers and lungs.

I know the “internet” abounds with tails of the functional, high drive pot head - but I don’t know any.

I know lots of failed humans, who are habitual pot smokers. I know lots of failed drunks too.

I’m not saying pot heads cannot make money - I know a couple who were doing well, for awhile - but they’re both a long way from living anything someone would call a “successful” life.

It's the education "system" we have.

Kids are not being taught to think, they are being taught to pass a standard test to compare them to the next town over.

Add in more more split families, working parents, and government systems telling them that the schools are fine... it's a receipe for disaster.

Just like the student loan situation, Social Security, home loans, and subsidized income... everything the .gov touches turns to shit. But creating crises keeps the .gov in business to come up with the next "solution". A dumb voter base that can't survive independently only solidifies the survival of this system.

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

Im not sure what is creating it. Most likely several things but it’s definitely sad and it’s not from a lack of diagnosis years ago.
