One of my classical music FM stations had a Halloween special this evening (Oct 30). Among other things, there was a very dramatic reading of Edgar Allan Poe's poem, "The Raven", with appropriate pipe organ music in the background. It was quite good – I like poetry if it rhymes and scans.
There was also a good joke. After playing "Danse Macabre", by Camile Saint-Saens, the announcer commented: "Saint-Saens was the only composer that has ever composed for 10 consecutive decades. But after the Grim Reaper took him in 1921, he decomposed. Hahahaha…" (with echo-chamber effects, of course).
Serious about crackers.

I always think of this around Halloween... there was a time these were common on FM radio around this time of year.
