| My 1974 Ford F250 can shift out of park without pressing the brake pedal. Somehow I've managed not to run myself or anybody over for over 40 years now. Probably because I don't take it out of park when I don't want it to roll away. This isn't enough of an issue to get all breathless over. Have it fixed, but don't pretend this is an imminent accident waiting to happen.

Oh the terror. I just checked my 2001 F150 and it too will shift out of park without the brake depressed. Guess I've just been lucky it hasn't killed me in the past 17 years. I better contact Ford next week for an immediate fix.

| I actually had a truck slip out of park and start rolling towards a creek. I jumped in and stopped it two feet before it went over the edge. I don't think I've ever ran that fast.

We would like to congratulate the 5% who made it home.
Even though my truck fits those years, that was funny Thanks for the laugh. Silent |
