Have been watching a lot of aviation videos on YouTube the bast couple of weeks. I've attempted to google the term, but haven't had any luck.

So what is a baller pilot?

Navy? As in "fly the ball?"

Or like really good. As in "straight ballin'?"

LOL. Now I want to know. But the first would be my actual guess (if these are professional videos.)

There’s a song by Lil’ C...

Lyrics
Wanna be a baller, shot caller
Twenty-inch blades on the Impala
Call her, gettin' laid tonight
Swisha rolled tight, got sprayed by Ike
I hit the highway, making money the fly way
But there's got to be a better way!
A better way, better way, yeah
I'm a, baller, I'm a twenty-inch crawler
Blades on Impala, diamond rottweiller
I-10 hauler, never a leader not a follower
Break these boys off I'mma twenty inch crawler
Bust a left, a right, I'm outta sight I'm throwed
I'm bouncin' off the road I'm in a mode n 'fo
Takin' it to 'em, hop out my big body form
Chain with the charm can't forget Moet along
I'm hot, find me lookin' good, diamonds against my wood

Man it's understood, got money in my hood
I'm pushing big body can't stop me
For the nine-eight got to sell a million copy
I'mma crawl slow puffin' on the Optimo hit the sto'

I'mma go real slow, puffin' indo out the do'
I'mma lit the stash green, man I'm lookin' clean
Want remote control, good green and nice Byzantines
Wanna be a baller, shot caller
Twenty-inch blades on the Impala
Call her, gettin' laid tonight
Swisha rolled tight, got sprayed by Ike
I hit the highway, making money the fly way
But there's got to be a better way!
A better way, better way, yeah

My guess would be the slang definition used to describe someone as "cool", "hip", "extraordinary".

Cheers~

I think you guys are right. The titles of the video are labeled as "Baller Pilot So and So" so I figured that it was a slang term for a type of pilot.

Not a Naval Aviation term I've ever heard.

I've heard Naval Aviators called many things before but never "baller"

We would really need to know the context in which the term is used. If I may bring it in from the street, a baller is, as defined by Urban Dictionary, "Someone who started out from the bottom and with nothing and have now made it to the top."

Hence, the baller could be a pilot who started out as nothing, then became the hotshot, or he could be the person who pilots the aircraft for the baller.

I would have guessed it had something to do with male sex organs, and meant a pilot who took chances and pressed on.

a bit of googling including, seeing photos of the artists, indicate this tune has nothing to do with aviation.

Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

What's the video? I've never ever heard the term 'baller' being ascribed to anyone in any type of aviation. That's a sure fire way to ridicule.

Here are the links to the videos. Just the way the titles are worded, like I said before, I thought it was an actual term.

I've been in aviation a long time. Never heard that term.

Sounds like something some kid came up with.
