Rey HRHHow did you chose your Sig Forum handle ?
I've used my handle in several online places. Rey is my first name which means king in Spanish and HRH is the standard His Royal Highness which I morphed to His Royal Hiney.
The first iteration of it, I used HRH Rey. Except people kept referring to me as HRH and I kept missing that they were tagging me. So I flipped it to Rey HRH.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

TinymanWhen I joined, I tried Tiny for my handle. Said it was already used, 'try again'.
Stationed at Pease AFB NH, a mustang (look up mustang if you really want the 411) was being introduced around the squadron. When it was my turn, he looked me up and down and said you are Tiny (6'4") and the name stuck.
That said, kept Tiny and being male (only one of the two genders) added man.

drill sgtWhen returning home to Louisiana after military service in 1979 some of the locals started calling me "Eskimo" because of the time serving in Alaska with the US Army.... then some ham radio operators locally here in Louisiana added "Cajun Eskimo" because of my callsign ( KL7JIU ) as issued by the FCC denoted Alaska.... but as far as the "drill sgt" came from some other "patriot guard riders" when doing the escorting military and 1st responders with honors I would wear my "campaign" / "smokey bear" / "drill sgt" hat that i had worn everyday for 3 years at FT> Sill, Okla while assigned to training young fresh troops in the field artillery (howitzers and pershing missile).. This was "AIT" after their inital 8 week basic training .......... Have used the "drill sgt" handle on since it pays tribute to my military service. Hopefully not considered as a mean and sadistic as some drill sgts were but was tough but fair to the troops. .................................. drill sgt.

NapoleonSoloAs a kid in the 60's I loved the loved the Man from U.N.C.L.E. and thought when I signed up I would use that forum name. Glad I grew up in the time I did and while I served in the military, I am no secret agent lol.
“Our actions may be impeded...
But there can be no impeding our intentions or our dispositions. Because we can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting.
The impeding to action advances action.
What stands in the way becomes the way.”

1967GoatI bought a 1967 Pontiac GTO when I was a freshman in high school, 1988. It was a father-son project, and I still have it. 1967Goat is also my eBay ID and my ID on just about every forum I frequent.

71 TRUCKMine refers to the ladder truck I drove as a firefighter many years ago back in New Jersey.
If you look at the picture under my handle, it is my fire helmet with the number 71 in a red panel.

PykerMine comes from a book I read many, many years ago, about a Belgian pilot who escaped to England when Hitler overran the continent in 1939/40. He joined the R.A.F. and fought through the Battle of Britain, only to die in a flying accident in 1941. His nickname was "Pyker' and his biography (from his logs and diaries) was 'Lonely Warrior'. His given name was
Jean Offenberg D.F.C. When I was a Deputy Sheriff, I was quite often the only cop in the entire county, especially at night, so I found myself the 'Lonely Warrior' a lot of times. I remembered the book from past and 'voila!' my name was born.

The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.
