Are the Costco progressive eyeglass lenses any good?
I've alternated between Costco/WallyWorld/ over most of last 25 years, using progressive/darkening Rx. I have complex eye issues that require certain luck along with skill of the lensmakers.

At times CostCo wins the next purchase; other times some other maker is recruited for their entry into the Sweepstakes.

Sometimes I'm unsure whether the Rx is me or the glass. Last time the mistake was misalighned focus between differing prisms. In any case, all of the makers have responded well to repair/replace policies seeking customer satisfaction. Same for coatings/frames, up to a point. There are a number of smaller labs that have been put on the permanent F list.

You probably know this, 4MUL8R. But for anyone else, you can bring your own frames and they will pull lenses in them.

It was a $25 upcharge when I was getting new glasses a year ago.

I've had good luck with several sets of Costco lenses. I also get glasses from Kaiser; Costco's have been at least as good, sometimes better.
