We shop a lot at Costco. Well, at least the wife does. I go there from time to time, carrying, and have never seen a sign that says I cannot. Been shopping there for years, and will continue to do so. Regarding the reserved for veterans parking. . . I have not seen one around here but I don't spend much time frequenting the shopping centers any more. Will be heading into town shortly, and will check out a couple places. We have a Lowe's credit card that we use there. We get an automatic discount when we use it. I think 5%. I may buy something at Lowe's today just to check out the veteran discount. OTOH, maybe I will just ask them. Can't think of anything I want/need to buy today. Well, come to think of it, I can buy some of their drywall sanding sheets and try it on my wood turning and see if it lasts longer than regular sand paper. Again, seems to vary based on location and individual store but I have never been refused the 10% veteran discount at my HD. Sometimes it won’t apply to sale or clearance items, but by and large it is across the board. I am “registered” for it at Lowe’s as well, but there have been occasions where the checker was unable to get it to apply (when it should) and didn’t know the process to do it (enter my phone number into their computer). Then became very patronizing to me when I told them they were doing it wrong, said it was applied (no discount displayed and never took my phone). I was a big fan of Eagle over HD, but when Lowe’s took over Eagle in my area the stores went to shit. What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???  | |||
