I saw them on a campus tour in 1984. Less than 200 people there. The band members came down after and hung out with everyone. It was the best concert I've ever been to.

I, too, don't care for them (concerts) nowadays. Perhaps due to the hearing loss or maybe just old(er) age, the loud stuff just doesn't sound good anymore. I went to Jackson Browne a year or two ago and, while I like his music, I was disappointed.

Give me small venue acoustic stuff and I'm there.

I was fortunate enough to see many of the Big Acts due to the subsidy of the casinos. Three Dog Night, Ray Charles, Tyrone Davis, Bo Diddly, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Ben E King, Eric Burdon, the Chi Lites, James Brown, Grass Roots, Bobby Blue Bland, Irma Thomas etc.

Do you get your money back if you walk out because it's to loud?
