Some ShotHappy National Vietnam War Veterans Day 03-29
Haven't heard anything about today except a mention in the VA newsletter.
Sort of like Charlie Brown said about wetting your pants in a dark suit. It gives you a warm feeling, but nobody notices.
On the upside, I haven't been spit at in over 50 years.

sigfreundI had heard about the day previously, but had completely forgotten until an email from McGuire Army Navy.
https://www.mcguirearmynavy.co...id_rd=73332271648787 I don’t know that I’ve ever seen it asked, and perhaps this would be an opportunity: Who among the membership served in Vietnam during the war?

To operate serious weapons in a serious manner. March 29, 2022, 03:36 PM
Flash-LBI posted it on another board I'm a mod on.
There are probably a bunch on this board, as it recognizes those who were in country as well as those who weren't, but are still Vietnam Era vets. They all took their chances.
I'm a member of those groups.

I was 17 when I hit Parris Island. I called VN my "senior trip".

TirodWe should explore how to address a military veterans day. It's a time to remember those who didn't return, too.
It's not all picnics and ice cream for some of us.
