I mean besides my wife. She likes it because she says it lasts all day.
I hate it because it smells like when they make you take your gas mask off in the gas room at boot camp. It’s violently offensive to the nose and it sets me to coughing.
It must be one of those “for girls, by girls” things because it’s not attractive to men.

I think women are looking at perfume all wrong as they keep using girly scents that don't attract men. Instead, they should be wearing bacon scented perfume, welding & grinding scented perfume, etc.

Woman thing. They pick what they like to smell all day. I forget what it is my wife has decided she likes, but it smells vile to me and I've told her so. Still wears it because, and I quote: "Well, I like it."

Yes, I’ve told her that I can’t stand the smell. I’ve gone as far as spending $450 on other scents that we both like. She still puts on the White Diamonds at least twice a week. I start coughing every time and she thinks I’m joking around. This message has been edited. Last edited by: mark123,

My wife was using some skin care product earlier this year that was hideous. I told her if she was trying to run me off, she was doing a great job. That shit smelled like feet.

I like Vanilla Tobacco from Tom Ford. Lasts all day and my husband says it smells like smoky single malt and cookies I’ve tried so many perfumes over the years and this is the only one he has ever liked. This message has been edited. Last edited by: JYuma,

Sometimes a fragrance that might smell good with a whiff from a bottle or a dab on a finger reacts badly with an individual's chemistry.
I used to work with/for a woman (co-owner with husband, so literally a "mom-and-pop" business) who seemingly dipped her whole body in a vat of perfume. I always knew when she was coming up behind me. And when her mother came to visit, I found where she got it from. It wasn't a bad fragrance, just way too much of it.This message has been edited. Last edited by: egregore,

I don’t mean to sound rude, but the smell of White Diamonds is the smell of old ladies. Anytime I smell it I think of grandma. Sorry to say, I’m not the only one. Go to a nice assisted living facility. My dad’s wife’s mother was in one. Most of those old women drown themselves in White Diamonds. All were nose blind to it, and all wanted to be able to smell it, so out came the bucket brigade.
Maybe if she realizes that she’s wearing the scent of Grandmothers International, it may defer her to wearing something a little more modern and fresh scented.
All day long and all day strong, but a million times better than old lady stink, Victor and Rolf Flowerbomb. You can get it at Sephora. It’s very fragrant, and will last all day. It also smells pretty okay.

Why would it be rude to call my wife a grandma. It’s her favorite title.

Mrs. Mike doesn’t wear perfume. Took me a few years to figure it out, when we moved she had unopened bottles at the garage sale. I asked and she says the smell overwhelms her, so she doesn’t wear anything.
I occasionally smell sand n sable and am transported to the late 1980s and that girl from high school
