The CEO for Google is insanely highly intelligent. Wouldn’t take much for him to run circles and totally confuse all the Congress-critters. My brother has spoken with him personally as a google employee and is very impressed, which says a lot coming from him

Neither side is actually interested in breaking any of them up. Its much easier for the government to subvert the constitution when theres only a fee corporations controlling online speech.

Neither party cares. They just want to win points with their base while not upsetting their mega donors. Hell half these people are the ones who created the conditions for giant tech companies to dominate our lives.

Big tech is a useful tool for govt oppression via circumventing the constitution.

The govt isn't censoring you, private social media companies are.

The govt isn't taking your guns, private banks and tech are the ones making life hard for gun companies/websites.

The govt isn't invading your privacy, big tech is.

Not only that, each one of them (with the exception of Zuckerberg, and props to him for it, although perhaps he just has the media awareness to know he would look like a complete idiot to say otherwise) would even admit what everyone already knows about China, that they are actively stealing our technology. They flat out refused to say it.
