It's simple- if you interfere with a police investigation, you risk being arrested, and all your righteous indignation won't save you
....especially if the officer tells you to cool it or you'll be arrested, and your response is "Arrest me."
Now, you freakin' ask for it, Mister Big Shit, and you got it. The part I love is the aftermath. Our hero doesn't take it in stride (after daring the officer to arrest him). No, instead, he calls the officer a "cracker" and says that if they don't release him, "there's gonna be a problem".
Bitch, you already have problems.

Whenever a police officer treats a Black person the same way he treats all people, that officer will be determined to be anti-Black. (Racist)

Many, many people have been arrested on principle. If this guy volunteered for arrest on principle, then took it stoically, quietly, well that would be one thing. But to dare the police to arrest you and then throw a tantrum when they do is ridiculous.

Hahaha, happens a lot around me. Twice on Monday I got that same crap.
Didn't bother me too much, two people in jail and I was able to finish both reports.
Not minority enough!

Cultural differences are a real thing. If a white pastor in ANY church in my area, regardless of denomination, were filmed making racial accusations, dropping F bombs, and making racial slurs, he'd be out of a job before the video made the nightly news.
As has been said before, what comes out of you when you're squeezed says a lot about you. When squeezed, he wasn't so holy...

I guess GAW'DUH wasn't on his side.
He's no pastor, he's just another racist asshole with a bully pulpit.

With the number of black "Pastors" and "Reverends" out there, one can't help but think that maybe there is an ad in the back of JET magazine saying "Get your divinity certificate here! $9.99 will make you an official Reverend!"
Something tells me this yahoo took them up on their offer. Yeah...a real man of God there, huh?

He did wait almost two minutes before he dropped the racist card. I love how he followed it up with calling the cop a cracker. Only one racist in the video, and he's the one in the back of the squad car, not the one driving it.

You don't even need that. All you have to do is say that you're a pastor and boom, Heavenly Angels sing.

I think a lot of people don't realize why men who are educated and devote their lives to the work of God are called "reverend."
It used to be obtaining a college education was a really big deal. It was a big deal because it required an above-average intellect to do it. (As well as an above-average commitment and devotion.) Then, if you proved yourself to have an above-average intellect by obtaining a college degree, and you decided to devote that superior intellect and that achievement to doing the work of God rather than using it to make yourself wealthy, well, that was truly something to be revered for.
Now that a college degree can be obtained merely by showing up to class every session and convincing your professors that you buy into all of the lies of the left, a college degree means not anywhere near as much as it used to. And, now that being a reverend means as little as having a comparable intellect as someone like Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, the term has lost all meaning.
Of all the enemies the American citizen faces, the Democrat Party is the very worst.

MSNBC has a show waiting for him. Maybe as a co-host with Rev Al. Tawana Brawley could round out the program.
