Looks like you guys had a 4th to remember. Those ribs look amazing. I haven't had decent BBQ since I did a contract in DFW 5 years ago. The BBQ here in PR isn't even BBQ. It's overcooked, dry meat with more sugar than sauce.

It's almost the same thing when my wife who is Russian watches some of the movies these days portraying the Russians as cut-throat criminals in these crime/thriller flicks. I've come to know her and her friends here in Miami and they're just like us, no matter what flag they were born under, it's whats in the hearts that count.
Good on you guys Marzy and Cockatoo for giving them a real taste (literally) of good southern hospitality and what true America is about. Not the garbage they see in our news or in the movies. You guys are the best!

I like it! What caliber? I have one in .50AE, and several L.A.R. "Grizzly" pistols (oversized 1911s) in .357 GWM, .44 Mag, .45 Win Mag, and .50AE. I prefer the 1911 style guns for shooting, though.

The most DE flash I get is with the 6" 440. A close second is with the 6" 50AE with the brake.
The brake on the 50AE is awesome. I can shoot it one handed all the time.
There is also much to be said for a BFR in 460 S&W.

I load my .50AE with a 300gr JSP over 33.0 gr H-110. I think my .45 Mag load is a 185-gr SWCL over 26.0 gr H-110.
