I have not heard of this before!

Here-to-fore, Grand Juries have been protected by confidentiality. Is that not correct?

It seems to me this is a Black Lives Mob attempt at Lynching the officers!

What’s the reason for the family wanting the info presented to the grand jury? It won’t change the facts. Do they think the police and DA just went in there and lied?

I have presented testimony on several cases to a grand jury it was the same info that would have been presented to a magistrate, were I seeking a warrant from him. The grand jury is just a bigger body then a single magistrate.

Magistrates typically asked us questions if they were unsure about a particular area of a warrant for arrest or request for search warrant. The grand jury, does the same thing.

I found the DA had us (police) submit stuff to the GJ when it was politically better for him, ie a self defense shooting before NC had Castle Doctrine...the DA wasn’t gonna charge the guy, but felt it would be better if the GJ let the guy off the hook by them not indicting him...

The local news is reporting that the motion to release the transcripts/recordings was filed by one of the jurors. I thought that was kind of weird.

The reason they want the recordings released is because the BML crowd says that the AG didn't want to prosecute the officers so he intentionally presented a weak case or didn't present all of the evidence. The Grand Jurors want it released so they can say that based on the evidence presented they had no option to charge the officers with murder.

It's a bad precedent to set. If it's released here, then why not release all Grand Jury recordings? How can you make an argument against it if they release this one?

The people that need to hear it won't listen. They'll just say it's all lies or a conspiracy, and that the black attorney general is an Uncle Tom.

Sure, let’s go ahead and release the GJ testimonies. What better way then to taint a potential jury pool which will allow for defense attorneys to file motions of dismissal with prejudice to occur. That way there won’t be any trial and the “permanently aggrieved” can say NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE and have continuous riots and looting. That’s their game plan all along.

didn't they release grand jury info on the Michael Brown case ?

As i remember, that release was very effective to show the shooting was justified

Releasing the transcripts is not a new thing. But, much like Trumps taxes, they are looking for inconsequential talking points.
