The Lancaster County SPCA is closing, and has 2 dozen dogs they want to adopt out at $100 each ASAP, or they will have to euthanize them.

Thanks for posting this sigmonkey. Hopefully some one in the area will be able to adopt them. Sad to see the changes with the shelter.....This message has been edited. Last edited by: hapevo, July 26, 2017 12:43 AM

It's always the worst timing...I'm about 30 minutes from there, but I recently adopted two cats, and my lease only allows for two animals.
I hope they find homes for all of them. I love dogs, but between long hours civilian-side and, of course, the Army, it wouldn't be fair to the dog. My cats don't seem to give a damn though

Last I heard, they are giving away cats for $10 each too. But we already have enough. I do hope they all find good homes.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll forward this to my sister in Richland. Maybe she can take on another dog.
