I can make an outgoing "phone call" using Florida's relay service; a relay operator gets in the middle. Operator speaks to and listens to the party that I "call" and operator types back and forth with me. Works OK if I make an outging "call" but there's no way to receive an incoming call.
For stuff like this, I need to communicate in writing. Email, or a website that has a "chat" function.
I was told back in 1980 that I needed to learn sign language.

I am still HEAR!

I decided to go to Costco so I went to them and tried setting up an appointment while handing them a copy of my hearing test. They refused to use my hearing test and wanted to do their own. That removed them from the picture. I got my hearing tested by a doctor and did not want a lesser trained person ignoring the test that was done. I am certain that the hearing test I had already done was better than what they had in the store
I wouldn't let that dissuade me from having them re-test, no audiologist will use any others tests when ordering any medical device, Imagine that they don't want to get into a situation where they supply you a device based on the other persons determination and it doesn't work correctly, then they're in the middle of fixing a problem created elsewhere.
In fact, I'd be interested to see if they confirm the first test results, if everything is the same, then the results should be close or exact. JMO..

I tried that, but sign language doesn't work worth a poop on the telephone.
