Never miss an opportunity to STFU |
My neighbor has the truck set up to tow, every thing is there, harness, connectors and all. I took my VOM and used it to probe the pins of the bulkhead connector where the trailer pigtail connects. I got zip nada no matter what the VOM was set on. It would sometimes jump up a few numbers then return to zero. I used 2 different meters so I know they are working but both with same results. I then got underneath and pulled the tan connecter that sits as a group of 3 connectors forward of the rear bumper. Same thing with key on or off, or with lights on off. Any technicians work on any of these trucks and have any suggestions for tests? Places to Check? I assume the harness runs down the drivers side then splits. Do the tail lamps have independent wires that plug into a connector in the middle of the rear separately? Does the rear harness run from one side to the other as one piece? Do I need a different tester? Thanks In advance. Never be more than one step away from your sword-Old Greek Wisdom

Need to put the fuse in. Usually the fuse was taped to the pigtail and put in glove compartment. NRA Life Member
