What is the better one > one with the glass or the SS Carafe?

I have one of each.

The metal carafe keeps the coffee warmer longer, but you'll need a bottle brush (really no big deal) to clean it as needed.

I use my glass carafe one on a daily basis and I can easily wash it out by hand with a dish cloth. I sometimes don't make a full pot, I'll drink a few cups and be done, thus I don't need to keep it warm in a metal carafe.

Six of one, the other half a dozen, no big decision, either is fine.

I bought my MM last year on Prime day. Prices this year are about $10 higher, still a great deal and so glad I finally made the jump.

I've been a Technivorm owner for 12 years and nothing but good things to say.

I have the SS version and really like it.

We have the SS carafe and find that an occasional teaspoon or two of Cascade dishwashing powder in the bottom of the empty carafe, followed by filling it with near boiling water and letting it sit for 30 minutes or so before shaking the water out and rinsing several times to eliminate the soap suds results in sparkling clean insides.
