So I have a Gigabyte Aorus Z590i Ultra mini ITX mobo sitting around and I've decided to do a SishSF build with it. I have a i9-11900K CPU on the way but I've read that thing can get really hot. The case I plan to stick it in is a Thermaltake Tower 100, which only allows for one 120mm CPU cooler (radiator, not air). Now, I'm not planning on overclocking it, though it will see gaming use. Should I consider another case that allows for more (a lot more) cooling options like a Lian Li 011D mini? I'm also looking at the aesthetics and playing with RGB. _______________________________ The artist formerly known as AllenInWV

Look at AIO water coolers. The issue is fitting it into a case. Silverstone and others have cases that perfectly fit them.

My limited experience with cases (half a dozen builds) leads me to feel that Lian Li's are significantly better built than Thermaltake's. I've never regretted having too much room in a case, especially if you don't have to lug it around.

Yeah, that's what I meant. The Thermaltake case will only accept a 120mm AiO. _______________________________ The artist formerly known as AllenInWV

Will the Scythe Fuma 2 heatsink fan fit in there? I have an 11700k with a Noctua NH-U12A cooler and it does totally fine in a very small mid tower (Fractal Define 7 Mini) along with a massive GPU. -------------------- I like Sigs and HK's, and maybe Glocks

I'm eyeballing that Noctua. They have a Chrome Black version or something like that. I just don't like the asthetic of it. _______________________________ The artist formerly known as AllenInWV

I love the old school Noctua Poop Brown color scheme. No RGB for me... -------------------- I like Sigs and HK's, and maybe Glocks
