Only $19,000,000.

Oh, and I call dibs on the car for August 16th.

Y'all in? We can even store it in my garage.

Bugatti unveils the most expensive new car ever built

Bugatti, the French sports car brand that is now owned by German automaker Volkswagen, has revealed the most expensive new car ever built.

With a sale price of 16.7 million euros ($19 million), the Bugatti La Voiture Noire was publicly debuted Tuesday at the Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland.

Only one example of the model has been built and was developed to mark Bugatti’s 110th anniversary.

The company said the six-tailpipe “hypercar” represents the pinnacle of Bugatti’s production line. The 8-liter engine has 16 cylinders and 1500 brake horse power.

The new owner hasn’t been revealed but several industry reports suggest that former Volkswagen Group chairman Ferdinand Piech has added it to his collection of high-end cars.

Bugatti says the car is “more than a modern interpretation” of Jean Bugatti’s Type 57 SC Atlantic, of which only four were ever made.

By my calculation, it would take around 288 years for everyone to get it for a day. I think I'll pass. Big Grin

Will we have to chip in for gas, too?

Standard Bugatti Veyron tires cost over $40k to replace, and need replacement every 2,500 miles or so, and annual service runs about $20k, so we'll need to keep a slush fund.

Since I'm right in the center of the country...
I'll volunteer to host it in my garage.
That way you all won't have to travel so far to get your turn....
If that works for ya'll.... I'm in!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I saw either a Veyron or Chiron built completely from Legos which actually runs. Maybe something like 18 mph. It too was quite expensive for a Lego car. Looks quite real too. This company builds super cars like noone I've seen before.

I’m good. My next bike should come close to hanging with it. I just had to go through the pain of selling one so the next bike should be pretty wild. Tempting though
