I’ll posit this to you...go to the garage and put a quarter sized dab of anti seize on your hand (and wear your mask) and see how far that shit spreads in one day....and how that mask helps prevent the spread of it.

You're about 30 fathoms out of your league here. You should probably go do as much research as you can on the mail buoys and that will get you up to speed on why boat crud is an unstoppable thing. Also while your at it, look up monkey watch in the strait of Malacca, lots of good info there. ~Mark1Mod0Squid~ Sends

I've been stationed on Navy ships as part of my enlistment for six years and one day.

Wearing a mask to stop Covid while onboard a ship is less than the chance of getting zero cases of STDs on a West Pac cruise.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I woke up early one morning to the smell of paint, I then notice the air vent by my rack in the Goat Locker had a red ring around it. When I got up to the hangar bay I saw one of my guys painting some IMRL gear. I told him to knock it off before he killed the whole crew
So yeah, unless you're wearing MOPP gear 24/7 there's no stopping it

Yup. And we all agree that the best way to stop a wildfire from spreading is a bucket of water. Every bucket counts.

Oh I get it!

Either "The Onion" or "The Babylon Bee" hacked the Navy's tweeter account.

Very funny indeed!!

Basically its support equipment. In this case it was the Blade Crutches that support the Rotor Blades when they're folded

It saddens me that my NAVY has gone down the liberal toilet. My navy consisted of loud mouth mast Chiefs and some hard working boondock sailors. God help this nation.
