Over the years I often worked the 3-11 shift so missed a lot of television (not really a big deal). Anyway I have been thinking about a show that I saw a snippet of somewhere and it looked interesting. I recall that it may have had the word "Creek" in the title and was very dark and foreboding. There was a murder committed along a waterway of some sort and I believe it was some gangster type of characters making a hit. Can anyone point me in the right direction from this sparse account of what I remember.

That was not what I was looking for but did watch. Very dark so I understand how it could be mistaken for what I was looking for. But thanks for a good suggestion.

The scene I recall was an execution by some gangland types. May have been in black and white but all characters were wearing dark overcoats and hats and it was near a stream and the ground was snow covered. Four or five goodfella types did the victim in. Made him real dead.
