Sorry. There are only 2 sexes and one set of personal pronouns for each one. Pretending otherwise is stupid and insane. Those who are confused about their sex need psychological counseling, not pandering.

I will not participate in this ridiculous farce. One of the Transgenders said that "you cannot tell a person's gender by looking at them". Maybe not, if they're clothed, but if they're naked, I definitely can. (And it's "sex", not "gender"--"gender" is a grammatical term, not a physiological one.)

Gender and sex are two very different things. However, some of the pronouns identified in that article, I've never encountered, and wouldn't know how to apply them.

If someone wants to fire me for misuse of nonsensical, improper language, then it's probably somewhere I don't care to work.

Now what can Columbia say?

Whiney attention seeking is what this is all about. I’ve unfortunately been introduced to people in the trans community through a relative. The “trans” people I’ve met aren’t into this pronoun shit. If they are a trans man they use he/him. If they are a trans woman they use she/her. They truly think they were born wrong and have taken surgical and hormonal steps to switch genders. Many of them are just as put off by this pronoun crap as we are.

These go to eleven.

Just another example how a college degree is virtually worthless today, an Ivy League degree especially so. If you can't handle pronouns, I would contend you're utterly worthless in the workplace. I once had the owner of a very large corporation refer to me as quite the "son-of-a-bitch", but that he was very pleased to have this son-of-a-bitch working for him (made a lot of money off that man over several years). Wonder how these weak kneed crybabies would handle that reference? Time for people to grow the hell up.

The first time I encountered this was around 1984, when I noticed that a guy(?) I had worked with for a few years was wearing earrings, eye shadow, and a light layer of lipstick. At work.

I was confused. I think that he was, too.

If you have that luxury, and the company was traditionally very stable and well run. One CEO can change it all and make it a miserable place to work, ruining the careers of some of the best people in the organization. Don't fool yourself.
