Second opinion? You haven't had a first opinion
from a REAL DOCTOR. If you think it's possible you have serious spine issues, you need to consult with real medical professionals, not a chiropractor.
Do you know what "alternative medicine" that actually works is called? Medicine.
WTF? Pretty broad brush you're painting with.

SpinZoneI saw a chiropractor for the first time last summer for a sharp driving pain near the inside lower part of my right shoulder blade.
She was awesome. Once a week for 4 weeks and I was 100%. She never mentioned any long term treatment plans. Each visit consisted of adjustments and massage.
As for not being a real doctor, we spent 45 minutes going over my medical history on my first visit and as much research i have done on 2 chronic medical issues that i suffer from, she knew more about them and Pointed me at some new info on them that I was not aware of.

steve495I wrecked my mountain bike during a race, got whiplash, some pain in my back and went to see a chiropractor. I think he actually helped me during the span of about three visits, or maybe it was two weeks and six visits. ...
Then came the
big push to get me into a program of regular visits that I "really needed and would benefit from." I passed.
At that point, the doc's personality totally changed... seriously, in the matter of three seconds. I really think he was pissed off at me. As a matter of fact, he was so pissed off, he never submitted any claims to the insurance company, nor did he ever send me a bill.
I wasn't going back to that guy.
YMMV of course.

FU DMF, you do not have a clue what you are talking about.
Well first, I truly am amused when people here freak out, especially jumping to profanity, when their profession is criticized. Because my profession is probably the most often, and most aggressively criticized, on this forum. Yet I manage to respond without profane freakouts.
Second, I most certainly do have a clue, more than just one in fact. Here's one for those that need a clue:
https://health.spectator.co.uk...more-harm-than-good/I'll save the next clue for your following post.

See I've got some "clues" about what you're talking about.
BTW, calling yourself a "spinal engineer," is lame. You're no kind of engineer. Real engineers get an MS in an engineering discipline, from an accredited University, work long enough to test for their Professional Engineer license, and actually pass the test. They are truly a profession, with a long course of study, practical application, and rigorous standards.
Much like licensed physicians, aka REAL DOCTORS.

LE is being the most often and most aggressively criticized profession
on this forum? That's a new one on me.

You've been around long enough, I'm surprised you haven't noticed. However, it is so common jljones referenced one of the LE critics' common mantras in this recent post:

Yep.
I've been around here long enough to know that this forum is one of the most LE supportive ones around. But, even supportive doesn't mean that there are no criticisms. If everyone just agrees on everything, then might as well drink the Jonestown Kool-Aid.
Btw, I totally agree with you regarding
c1steve using profanity on you. That was uncalled for. When you resort to profanity, instead of using facts and evidence, in a discussion, you lose.

Yes, there are many very supportive of LE on the forum, and many who love to attack LE. I don't expect everyone to agree on everything, including LE related topics. I also realize people who generally are supportive of LE, might have criticism of LE, and it might be valid criticism. However, it doesn't change the reality that LE is one of the most criticized (changing from simply "the most," after RogueJSK pointed out "politicians" probably get criticized more) professions on the forum.

parabellumHang on
Just what seems to be the problem, DMF? Without reading through this thread, I'm looking at your last post.
Let me ask you something- do find it necessary to
always wear the mantle of 'super Fed' when you post?
What seems to be the problem? You're upset/unhappy/disappointed about...what? Tell me.
We're posting links are we? Here's one for you, DMF. Try bitching about this:
